THE WORLD is a global soft darts tour where players from around the world gather to compete for the title of the world's best throughout the year.
Points are awarded based on results at each STAGE, and the top players in the annual rankings earn qualification to SUPER DARTS.
As an international tournament featuring players from across the globe, THE WORLD showcases highly competitive, world-class matches.

Hailing from the host country, Malaysia, Terry Tan proved his world-class ability by finishing in the Top 4 at SUPER DARTS 2025. Carrying the expectations of the home crowd, he advanced through the tournament with confident and composed performances that left a strong impression on fans.
One of Malaysia's proud representatives. In 2016, he captured his first THE WORLD title on home soil in Malaysia. At SUPER DARTS 2024, he defeated Phil Taylor and reached the Top 8, continuing to demonstrate his presence on the global stage.
One of the players who best represents THE WORLD, holding the all-time records with 4 annual championships and 9 tournament victories. Having competed at the top level for more than a decade, he has also qualified for SUPER DARTS for two consecutive years in recent seasons, showcasing truly remarkable consistency and strength.
At the age of 72, this legendary player remains an enduring icon of the sport. A three-time THE WORLD annual champion with eight career victories, the second-most in history, he continues to shine as a true "Living Legend."
Competing since the inaugural season of THE WORLD in 2011, he has remained active at the highest level for many years. In 2012, he secured the No.1 spot in the annual rankings. Known as one of Asia's leading players, his aggressive style and dynamic performances are always a highlight to watch.
The reigning World Champion, having won SUPER DARTS 2025. Known for his calm demeanor and precise throws, he remains unfazed in any match situation. Having proven his presence on the world stage, even greater performances are expected.
The champion of THE WORLD 2023 MALAYSIA STAGE and No.1 in the JAPAN 2023 annual rankings. He also competed in SUPER DARTS 2024, expanding his presence beyond Japan onto the world stage. Returning once again to Malaysia, can he claim the title there once more?
The youngest player in this tournament at just 19 years old. After discovering darts in his teens, he quickly demonstrated strong potential, ranking among the top players in U-22 competitions. He currently competes on the JAPAN Soft Darts Professional Tour, steadily building his career and achievements.
