Champion of the previous stage, THE WORLD 2026 STAGE 2 TAICHUNG. He has steadily honed his skills since his teens and has grown into a top player, currently ranked 2nd in the THE WORLD annual rankings. All eyes are on whether he can reach the top once again and take two titles in a row.
A skilled player with a SOFT DARTS PROFESSIONAL TOUR JAPAN title to his name, as well as experience competing at the world event SUPER DARTS. Never losing his passion for enjoying darts more than anyone, he keeps aiming higher with his finely honed skills and continues to challenge the world stage.
Currently ranked 1st in the THE WORLD annual rankings. He won STAGE 1 MALAYSIA and followed it with a 3rd-place finish at STAGE 2 TAICHUNG, delivering strong results in two consecutive stages. A world-class player who combines consistency with the ability to win when it matters, he has also taken the THE WORLD title twice in the past. With his momentum intact, expectations are high that he can reach the top again.
The son of a professional darts player, he is a young talent seen as the future of Japanese darts. In 2026, on the day of his 16th birthday, he took the SOFT DARTS PROFESSIONAL TOUR JAPAN pro license test and passed in just 15 minutes. Having shown genuine ability at such a young age, he is steadily widening his stage. All eyes are on the darts he will throw in his first THE WORLD.
A skilled player who consistently finishes near the top of the SOFT DARTS PROFESSIONAL TOUR JAPAN. In 2023 he won the THE WORLD JAPAN STAGE MEN'S DIVISION, and he continues to stand out on stages where the strongest players from Japan and abroad gather. Armed with that experience, he is aiming for the top once more.
Currently ranked 1st on the SOFT DARTS PROFESSIONAL TOUR JAPAN, he possesses overwhelming skill. His precise control — never wavering, never missing — is a must-see. With that unshakable strength, he is one of the favorites for the title at this stage as well.
A 15-year-old from Scotland and the youngest player ever to compete in THE WORLD. He became the first Scottish youth player to be selected for both the youth and senior national teams, and in 2025 he won the WDF World Youth Championship to become world champion. That same year, he also reached the final of the WDF World Championship. Ranked world No. 1 in both the Youth and Open rankings, this young champion looks to begin a new legend at this stage.
A 16-year-old player from England. He won the JDC Winmau World Masters held in Milton Keynes in 2026, as well as the Budapest Classic in 2025. His victory in the men's Budapest Classic was the youngest ever in a WDF senior event. As one of the most promising young players in darts, it will be fascinating to see what kind of storm he stirs up at THE WORLD.
